The winter sports season at Westhampton Beach High School has concluded with multiple teams and athletes earning accolades.

Highlights of the winter season included the girls winter track team earning League Championship and Scholar-Athlete Team titles. Also named Scholar-Athlete Teams were boys winter track, girls basketball, girls competitive cheer and wrestling.

In addition, boys winter track members received the following individual honors:

Gavin Ehlers — All-State, All-Federation, fifth place among public schools in the 3,200 and fourth place among public schools in the 1,000 at the New York State Championships

Trever Hayes — 21st place among public schools in the 1,600 at the New York State Championships

Maximus Hayna — 13th place among public schools in the 3,200 at the New York State Championships

Colby Mason — All-State, All-Federation, fourth place among public schools in the pole vault at the New York State Championships

The Westhampton Beach School District extends its congratulations to its winter athletes for their dedication and hard work.
