Wall of Fame
What is the Wall of Fame?
In the fall of 2002, the Westhampton Beach School District established its Wall of Fame. The Wall of Fame is a way of memorializing extraordinary achievements of Westhampton Beach School District alumni, as well as former faculty and staff members. Achievements in academics, fine arts, school / community service, business and public service are critical to the selection process, as the inductees also serve as important role models for the students and the community.
How does someone get nominated to the Wall of Fame?
Each year, the District selects inductees based upon nominations submitted by Westhampton Beach community members, alumni, faculty and staff. Self-nominations are also welcome. If you know of a prestigious alumnus or retired faculty or staff member who is a positive role model for students; graduated or retired from Westhampton Beach High School more than five years ago; and is distinguished in career, community service and/or socially responsible endeavors, please fill out the attached nomination form and submit it to the Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics no later than April 1st.
Where is the Wall of Fame Located?
The Wall of Fame is located in the District Auditorium, and individual plaques commemorating member achievements are permanently affixed to the wall.
