The Westhampton Beach School District has named Jacqueline Pirro as its new assistant superintendent for business, effective June 21, 2021.

“We are looking forward to having Ms. Pirro join our team,” said Superintendent Mike Radday. “We are certain she will be an asset in continuing our tradition of strong financial stewardship and stability.”

Pirro, of Center Moriches, joins Westhampton Beach from the Hauppauge Union Free School District, where she served as the assistant superintendent for business and operations since 2017. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing the district’s $115 million budget.

Prior to her employment in Hauppauge, she held the post of assistant superintendent for business in the East Williston UFSD in Old Westbury, where she oversaw business office operations and managed the district’s $58 million budget.

In addition to her K-12 experience, Pirro is an adjunct professor at Molloy College.

She holds a B.A. in business administration from the University at Albany and an M.S. in adolescence education, as well as her advanced school business leader certification, from Dowling College.

Of her appointment, Pirro said, “I am thrilled to be joining the administrative team. I look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence in Westhampton Beach. “
