The Westhampton Beach High School Class of 2021 celebrated an academic milestone as they received their diplomas on June 25 at the school’s 113th commencement exercises.

During the evening ceremony, Superintendent of Schools Michael Radday and High School Principal Christopher Herr congratulated the students on their academic, athletic and extracurricular accomplishments and their community service contributions.

Also speaking during the ceremony was valedictorian Jacqueline Glaser and salutatorian Jade Hawkesworth, who both spoke about perseverance and the future.

Rounding out the celebration, senior class historian Ellen Floegel spoke of class memories, while senior Jane Paulson shared her own poem. The symphonic choir closed with a performance of “Stand Together” by Jim Papoulis.

After accepting their diplomas and tossing their caps, the graduates joined a final procession off the football field toward their next chapter of success.
