Ten Westhampton Beach High School senior athletes penned their names to letters of intent during a college signing ceremony on Nov. 10.

The Westhampton Beach School District extends its congratulations to the following student-athletes:

Congratulations to the Westhampton Beach High School boys varsity volleyball team for winning the Division 2 Suffolk County Championship title. Their playoff journey will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 11, when they play against Center Moriches.

The Westhampton Beach School District extends its congratulations to girls varsity tennis doubles partners, senior Julia Stabile and junior Matilda Buchen, on their state championship win. The duo earned the title at the state championship on Oct. 4 at Central Park Schenectady.

Westhampton Beach High School cross-country star Lily Strebel took first place at the Manhattan College Cross Country Invitational on Oct. 14. She outpaced a field of over 180 runners, running the 2.5-mile race in 15:05.80. The win adds to the junior’s list of accomplishments as an athlete. She was recently named to Newsday’s Top 25 Long Island Girls Cross Country runners and finished fourth at the Bob Pratt 5K Invitational at Sunken Meadow earlier this season with a time of 19:38.3.
