To mark Fire Prevention Week, Westhampton Beach Elementary School students participated in fire safety lessons with members of the Westhampton Beach Fire Department. Students learned about general fire safety, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. They also practiced jumping out the window of the fire department’s smoke house simulator.
