The Westhampton Beach School District congratulates junior Lily Strebel on being named to Newsday’s top 50 Long Island girls track and field athletes. Lily was recognized for running 4:37.29 and placing ninth in the 1,500-meter race at last year’s outdoor state championship. She ran 4:43.93 in the same event at the Suffolk state qualifier.
