The Westhampton Beach School District is celebrating an academic milestone, earning an impressive top school ranking by Niche for 2026.
The district advanced to No. 7 in Suffolk County, up from No. 8 last year, and rose to No. 46 in New York State, up from No. 50. The recognition highlights the district’s continued commitment to academic excellence in areas including academic performance, teacher quality, student diversity and feedback from students and parents. The district earned an overall grade of A+.
“Climbing in the rankings affirms the hard work happening every day across our schools,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Carolyn Probst. “We remain committed to providing outstanding opportunities that inspire and prepare our students for the future.”
