Westhampton Beach High School varsity girls basketball players Sandra Clarke, Kate Sweet and Jasmine Taylor were named to Newsday’s Top 100 Long Island Girls Basketball Players list. Clark, a junior guard, was honored for averaging 15 points as a sophomore. Sweet, a sophomore guard, was recognized for her defensive presence and averaging 12 points, six steals and four rebounds last season. Taylor, a junior forward, was acknowledged for averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds as a sophomore. The district extends its congratulations to the athletes.
