The Westhampton Beach High School Virtual Enterprise team has learned that they have advanced to the National Business Plan Competition, to be held April 7 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. They are ranked in the top 10% of Long Island’s 140 teams.
The Westhampton Beach team, PuraVie, is a virtual sustainable cleaning supply company offering an innovative solution to reduce single-use plastics. PuraVie sells dissolvable cleaning tablets paired with reusable bottles, providing a convenient and sustainable approach to household cleaning.
The Westhampton Beach High School Virtual Enterprise program requires students to create a business concept and formulate plans to market it. They compete and present their plans at several events throughout the year.
